I cannot say enough good things about Joe's. We have been there more than a dozen times -- definitely our favorite restaurant in Chicago. It has the perfect combination of everything -- impeccable service, amazing food, and a formal yet not stuffy atmosphere. It can be pretty hard to get a reservation on the weekends (for a reason!), so if you're thinking about it, book now!

The waiters there are wonderful -- attentive, but not overbearing. They clearly enjoy what they do. We have had a few of them several times...

The food -- amazing! Every time my in-laws are in town we have to go there! Our favorites include about any of the fish dishes, the bone in filet as well as their regular filet, creamed spinach, Jennie's potatoes, fried oysters and you can't leave without getting dessert (they are all wonderful -- we always get the Boston Cream pie)!

We have also been to the Joe's in Miami, which is also excellent -- same quality of food, but the service @ the Joe's in Chicago is unbeatable!
