May is National Burger Month, which means we are serving up a special burger in honor of the occasion – available for one month only!
Introducing Joe’s Double Hot with Cheese. Created by Joe’s DC’s executive chef Chris Morvis, this burger features two four-ounce patties topped with American cheese, Sriracha mayo, pickles, banana peppers, onions, lettuce and tomato on a toasted bun, served with French fries.
“I was inspired by the types of cheeseburgers you might see on a diner menu or family owned bar in the 50’s and 60’s that are still being served today,” said chef Chris. “Thin patties, cooked in butter…and then I added the Sriracha and banana peppers to give it some heat that isn’t overpowering.”
